An Yang House

My Wife and I spent 4 nights at the A Yang House. Visiting Vancouver we decided to stay somewhere other than a hotel. The An Yang House is very clean and the rooms are nice and comfortable. The house is located a 10 minute walk from the mall and easy access to freeways and travel. Your host, An is absolutely great and will attend to any needs you might have. We knew we were in the right spot when we arrived and An asked us to remove our shoes when we entered the house. My wife and I do not wear shoes in our own house and this made us feel like we were in our own home. An is a very caring and special Lady so the next time you visit Vancouver dont miss out on your opportunity to stay with An at the An Yang House.

Its a nice experience to stay there, a safe and comfortable place.

I found the bathtub a bit slippery when taking a shower. I would advise purchase of either a bathtub mat or non-slip appliques. There was also no bathtub plug. On days that I walked too much, I wanted to take a soak in the tub. I ended up purchasing a plug from Dollarama and left it there. Since I stayed more than 3 days, I thought that a small garbage can in the bedroom in addition to the one in the bathroom would have been nice. I did take some garbage down to the kitchen from my take out containers. Mrs. Yang was very friendly and even gave me Asian apple pears from her back yard and a paring knife to peel them with. Also since it had been several years since I spoke Mandarin, I'm very appreciative to get in some practice, otherwise I'd be forgetting more and more. I should have gotten up earlier to go out to the back yard to practice some tai chi, when it wasn't raining. Perhaps if I stay there again.

This is a good place to stay. Property owner is nice and friendly. Guests were quiet and property is very safe. I didn’t hear noise from other guests. Entrance door was close to my bedroom but I never noticed people going in or out. Bathroom was large. It could have been a littler cleaner to make the whole stay more pleasant.

The host is very helpful and responsive. Clean and quiet house. Super fast WiFi broadband for remote WFH. Walking distance to Walmart/Supermarket/Mall/Food court. Less than 1.5km to Metrotown Skytrain station. Will visit again in the future.

Lovely stay, the neighbourhood is very safe and quiet. We felt very comfortable here and the room/bathroom was great. No complaints at all, would happily stay here again and would recommend to anyone. Extremely reasonable for the price compared to hotels in Vancouver. Overall this was a perfect stay, thank you very much for being so accommodating and lovely!

It was soo nice and clean comfortable room

Ms. Anna greeted us at the door upon arrival which was so nice. Lovely lady. Her home was very nice, quiet and comfortable. It was close to the Skytrain which was very convenient and so we were able to leave our car behind to check out Vancouver. Such a youthful, vibrant city. It helped that it was great weather as well.
