Hotel Bahnhof Jestetten

Property was clean ( newly renovated inside). Single manager running show (but helpful). Skip the breakfast if they offer. Ample parking.

the room has a heavy smell and moist, no refrigerator. the hotel is overrated

L’hôtel était fermé lorsque nous sommes arrivés a 17:00. Téléphone au propriétaire, il arrive entre 19:00 et 20:00. A 19:45 nous sommes devant l’hôtel et personne. Il arriver a 20:15. Et n’a pas reçu la demande de réservation!!! Je demande que vous me remboursiez le séjour!!!

I arrived after the reception was closed (they close it at 8PM) but when I called the hotel contact number, they kindly came to the reception desk and helped me check in!

A small family hotel located opposite the railway station. Large free car park next to the hotel, also can leave a car in the public car park next to the station. Good breakfasts, friendly staff. Close to the Rhine Falls.

This was a handy place to stay for an overnight stop - very reasonably priced (certainly compared to 5 minutes down the road in Switzerland!). The area is quiet with not much happening (and most of the places to get food were closed), but we were mainly in the area to visit Rheinfall, so it suited us. It was basic, but clean and quiet, though quite warm in the middle of summer.
