Beautiful rooms, Great athmosphere

The hotel itself is truly lovely – the room was excellent and I genuinely enjoyed my stay. Check-in was a great start: the gentleman at the front desk was warm, welcoming, and professional. Which makes what followed all the more jarring. On a subsequent visit to reception – to extend my stay by one night and ask for two plasters – the experience was the complete opposite. Two female staff members were seated behind the desk, both on their phones, neither acknowledging me. I stood there waiting. One of them, still seated, eventually called out a flat “Yes?“ without looking up or making any effort to engage. No eye contact, no basic courtesy. This is not a hostel. This is a 4-star hotel. When I also asked for the key card to be updated for the extended night, this was not offered proactively 🫩 – I had to ask. And when I requested two plasters, I was turned away. I had to ask three times and explicitly remind them that the hotel must have a first aid kit before anyone helped me. To add context: I was visibly unwell – fighting a cold from back-to-back business meetings, with a strained voice and blisters from the wrong footwear. Having to advocate that hard for something so basic, in that condition, was genuinely distressing. The hotel has real quality – and the contrast between the two service experiences makes it even more frustrating. Front desk staff can make or break a stay.

Alles was bewertet wird, ist auf einem sehr guten/ außergewöhnlichen Niveau. Das Frühstücksbüffett mehr als ausreichend und mit regionalen Produkten, die Räumlichkeiten und die Gastfreundschaft die insgesamt mit dem Konzept verfolgt wird ist einfach sehr gut. Design ist sichtbar natur-inspiriert, es werden auch für die Körperpflege Produkte verwendet, die nachhaltig sind, mir sehr gut gefallen haben und auch nicht in jedem Geschäft verfügbar sind. Die Ausstattung mit Getränken, Kaffee, Obst und Mini-Bar war ungewöhnlich! Auf jeden Fall zum Wiederkommen - gern außerhalb der Saison - die Zimmer liegen teilweise über einer Gastro-Zeile. Parken müsste noch optimiert werden.

Am Eingang zur Rooftop Bar, der zugleich der Zugang zu den Hotelzimmern sind von einem Zwei-Meter-Mann "abgefangen" und zur Ausweisung aufgefordert werden ist ein klarer Stopper ...:-(

Die Lage war gut und das Frühstücksbuffet im obersten Stock war toll.

Die Zimmer waren klein, schön modern gestaltet, aber das nur mit einem Vorhang schliessbare Bad/WC war uns dann doch etwas zu minimalistisch.

Great location. Lots of restaurants and stores in the immediate area

The building across from us was undergoing renovation and there was a lot of construction noise from 8 am until 5 pm.

Nice spacious room, very light, great bed and pillows. The gym is amazing.
