Clean, comfortable, located in a good part of Catania which to me felt modern and safe, with pizzerias, Lidl, a pharmacy, and everything else you might need nearby.

We had a problem — there was no water for two days. The team from Wonderful Italy wasn’t very helpful and often responded to our messages after two hours. I must say the best words for Elena, who did our check-in. She always replied immediately whenever we contacted her and got in touch with Wonderful Italy on our behalf. It’s a bit noisy in the morning due to the street — you can hear shouting and traffic. We were only provided with two rolls of toilet paper for a 10-day stay, so we had to buy our own.

Lovely sized flat and generally clean. Lidl just up the road and easy to walk into central Catania ( 20 - 30 minutes walk through back streets).

Information about the flat is only available online and is not very informative, it feels very general. Very poorly maintained; when we arrived there was no hot water. It took 24 hours to fix this. LOTS of other issues - no cold water in one bathroom, drains smell in both bathrooms, dishwasher and microwave needed fixing. Limited supply of cutlery and crockery. Poor maintenance has been repeatedly mentioned in reviews and does not seem to have been improved. The person who let us in gave us wrong information about leaving cases in the office on our last day The flat is in a area with busy traffic and very noisy, end bedroom affected by noise from neighbours. I wouldn't stay here again.

Apartment was not clean enough comparing to day rate we paid. Problems with water, we had to restart water pump in the latest floor multiple times per day to have water in the apartment.

Location is perfect, very close to the train and bus stations, apartment is very spacy, it was very comfortable for 4 persons, the kitchen is well-equipped.

The shower in one of the bathrooms was broken. In the second bathroom there was only very hot water, and water draining was very poor.

The host Raffaele, who welcomed us in the appartment upon arrival, was super friendly, informative and very helful. The host Christina, with whom we communicated via mobile phone during our stay was pleasant, while trying to give us necessary support. The appartment was spacious, well furnished, beautifully designed, and location is just great!

The main and crucial objections: 1. We didn't have a warm water for 3 (three) days, out of which we didn't have even cold water for 1 (one) full day at all(!). 2. The sink in the master bathroom was clogged all through our stay(!). 3. We wasted our time trying to solve serious issues mentioned above. Additional complaints: - there were no toiletries in the bathrooms at all, - the shower head was missing in the second bathroom, - some pots were old and some of them didn't even have handles, - there were NO single corkcrew opener in the appartment in the heart of the one of the best Sicilian vineyards regions in the Italy.

The apartment was beautiful. It was really large and with 3 balconies. The building is beautiful and quiet. It has an elevator so you can easily access the apartment. The area is nice and pretty safe. There are small shops and a Lidl nearby. Close to the train station and main bus stations. There are several restaurants less than 5 min away. There is also a pizza place from where you can get the best takeaway pizza. The beds were comfortable and large. There is plenty of wardrobe space available. All furniture was new. The place was well-decorated and cosy. The owner was really nice and accomodated to all of our needs as fast as possible. We had a great time and can't wait to come back.

When taking over the apartment, there were some problems related to cleanliness that were fixed after a discussion with the host.

Huge apartment with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, we had everything we needed. About 15 min walk from the centre

Parking is on the street. We always found free parking (it’s payable in the blue lines and free where there’s no lines) but I see how it might be problematic in the peak season

The location is nice, and close to centre and Lidl. The apartment is very big and has 2 bathrooms.

The place is very dirty . The shower has mold inside and the smaller shower head wasn t functional. I had to use the other bathroom to shower. We asked the host to come and check but no one came. The comforter had gross white stains which we also asked to be cleaned but they brought us just a bed sheet, not an actual cover. The bed had stains all over and it ruined our experience since we were not confortable. I put bleach in the shower and cleaned it myself. They asked us to buy trash bags…The entrance door was very difficult to open and the elevator was not working most of the time.
