The Grange Hotel

Very warm welcome . Lovely room great view of the knoll . Quality bed linen and towels . Tea coffee and biscuits and TV in room . Plenty of hot water . Good freshly cooked breakfast happy to meet individual needs . Excellent value for money . Recommend.

Hotel was in a good situation close to the Cheddar gorge and caves just off the M5Also plenty of parking spaces next to hotel.

Lovely hotel friendly staff very clean room. During the early hours we had a horrebdous noise coming from the radiator between 12-4am room 6. Also the shower water was cold bath water scalding hot. So a little dissappointed but not bad for the price we paid.

Very welcoming and accommodating. All staff were very helpful - great customer service.

All very pleasant room food and staff were very nice. On the down side we were above reception and there was a constant banging of doors

cannot fault the hotel will use again staff friendly and helpful loads of parking quiet at night away from mai n road

Really good first impressions. The lady at the front desk at check-in was really nice and welcoming, offered to take our bags up to our room after taking a few details and just making us feel very welcome. Place looked very nice, quite old fashioned but not a problem for us, we really liked the style/look. Room was spacious and was very good for the cheap price we paid, better than more expensive hotels we have been in the past. Didnt really have a view from the window but was only there 1 night and we got there late in the evening so we wouldnt have really seen the view anyway. Bathroom facilities were very good, the shower was one of the best showers we have ever had, although they have a loud air vent system that makes quite abit of noise throughout having a shower and after but wasnt too much trouble noise wise as they had a seperate door to the main room which blocked out most that noise if closed. The bed was very comfy with plenty of pillows, the tv was small but for the price was ok, wifi was easy to access and worked great with no problems, phone signal was bad in room but ok outside of hotel. One nice touch with the room was the fact they left a small selection of biscuits next to the tea making facilities and also had a small hairdryer on hand. Wasnt much noise throughout the night and overall very pleased with the room itself. Didnt have breakfast/dinner so cant comment on that. Parking was great, loads of spaces. Overall Fantasic visit, would 100% return.

Gem of a find, great price, very friendly, walkable to a cafe, restaurant and large garden centre. Driving distance to Burnham on sea, very accessible with lovely grounds.
