"Nicest Inn Owners, Ever!"

You will never find another set of hosts who are more gracious than the owners of the Lavender Fields Inn and B&B. The room was clean and comfortable and despite being in an old house, you could not hear through the walls like you often can in these type of settings. The morning breakfast was plentiful and delicious. This couple is dedicated to using local products and promoting other small business in the area. The communication after booking was prompt and helpful. I will definitely stay here again.

What a great stay we had at Lavender Fields. A lovely B and B in a small town. Less than a mile from a great brewery. We had opted out of breakfast because of other commitments, but Jeff and Barb left us goodie bags with fresh kolaches and muffins!! Just an awesome stay!!

"It's not heaven, it's Iowa ;o)"

Our daughter gifted our stay with Lavendar Fields. We loved it. The gardens are beautiful and the breakfast was incredible. We absolutely plan to return. The nearby town Decorah was so beautiful. It felt like all the towns lifetime romance movies are made. Jeff & Barb couldn't have been better prepared for company. The bike trails were awesome too. Wonderful stay.
