Spoke and Vine Motel

Everything was fantastic & I needed an ADA room & it was grand ! Lovely town

The air conditioner/ heater made a lot of uneven noise. Our son complained of the same thing in his room- we both had to turn them off in the night. Also there was no grass area for dogs, although it was "dog-friendly".

I would highly recommend staying at Spoke and Vine. The room was updated and very clean. Our hosts were very friendly and even joined us on the outdoor patio during the evening. Just the place to stay as you explore the nearby vineyards!

We came in for a family event. Ultimately chose spoke and vibe for its location. Close to family and the small downtown area. Can’t beat the location. I thoroughly read through the website and reviews. The owners are upfront that this is old building with some quirky features. We had some good and some not so good things PROS location can’t be beat Bathroom spotless Beds clean and comfortable Breakfast delivery to your room Dog friendly Cute outdoor patio and bar/gift shop CONS shower never got fully hot Shower doors didn’t close all the way A/C unit was loud and made a weird grinding noise Pull out couch mattress was paper thin Pull out couch had crumbs on the mattress Flooring felt “soft” near the bathroom Hotel bar only had coke/sprite/water for non alcoholic drink options Called the day before to confirm we would be in about an hour before check in. We were told no problem. When we got there no one was at the lobby and the door was locked. We did not pay for early check in, but were told someone would meet us. No one there for about an hour We did enjoy our stay, fully expecting a weird old building with all the quirks that come with it. The location can’t be beat. If the website had tried to pass this motel off as anything other than what it is, I would have been surprised. But they are very honest. It’s an old motel, not a resort. You are not going to hang at the motel. It’s a clean bed and a shower in the heart of all the action

This is such a wonderful place and has all the personal touches you never knew you needed! I never expect delicious, healthy breakfast and coffee served to the room, nor do I expect cute and funky bar and gift shop attached . The room we had was so clean and perfect with soft sheets and the staff are very pet friendly! I have appointments in grand junction but this is where I will always try and stay as it feels like a special night away. The owners also have a restaurant in town, Fidel’s Cocina and Bar, with delicious balanced cocktails and great food! Finishing a bike ride and need some R and R love? This is it!

Wonderful room but small, great staff, very friendly and courteous, great little bar and yummy breakfast!

Super cute little motel but beware the rooms are really tiny!!

We loved spoke & vine. They took an older motel and revived it. Lovely bar, sitting room in the lobby and great outdoor space. Walkable to downtown and parks. Offered yogurt, tea/coffee in the morning. Perfect place!
