Location is ideal - close to cafes, restaurants (Dongsi South very nice street), shops, the Forbidden City and Tiananmen Square. Room (superior Queen) was spacious and comfortable. Towels were super soft. Wardrobe conveniently had an iron and an ironing board. Bathroom had a drying line above the bathtub for hand wash items making it suitable for longer stays. Barely any noise heard from outside room.

Windows could do with a clean. AC wasnt working one day - was offered another room but stayed as I didn't fancy packing and unpacking and I liked my view - was brought a fan. Fridge had a loud cooling function but not so much it keeps you awake. Some reviews said hotel is dated but my superior queen room was fine - not brand new but nice decor (though the old frame b/w Great Wall photos do date the room).
