The home was very clean, well equipped, and a great location to towns within 30 minutes.

We’ve been on the road for almost two weeks, and this has been the best place we’ve stayed at. Very well equiped, the host was kind enough to ask about bedroom arrangements to separate beds before our group arrived. Equipped with 1 washed and 2 dryers, I must say it saved our lives Very quiet area, and an amazing view of the sunset. Short drive from Husavik, Goðafoss & Myvatn. As you’d expect in Iceland, there’s a small waterfall just behind the house. :)

Just a point of attention - the stairs to upstairs (3bedrooms & toilet), and basement (laundry & toilet& shower) are quite steep. However, anti-slip bands are placed on the steps.

If you like to stay in an authentic Icelandic house, this is the place. With squeeky wooden floors steep stairs and nooks and crannies combined with a comfy nostalgic interior. It has all the comfort though, but not too good for people who have difficulties taking stairs as they are steep and the steps are small. Its in a wide open quiet area with lots of birds and good views and has a nice hottub with lights and bubbles. It also has a larger diningroom so for special events this is really nice bonus. The host is keeping in touch with you to make sure all is perfect.

Toilet is either upstairs or downstairs and shower is only accessible by a steep stairs not fit for people who have difficulties with this, it comes close to a fixed ladder. Its the charm of an old farm house. One bedroom is on groundlevel though so no need to stay away from this place. We would have liked to see bathrobes for the hottub as you have to walk around the house to get to the hottub and for many people this is a cold moment.

Great accommodation experience. The host was very kind and always reminded us of the weather conditions and schedule. The rooms are clean and well-equipped, and it is the best place I have stayed in Iceland. I recommend it.
