Apiro Mykonos

We booked a sea view room with an indoor jacuzzi for our 5 night stay over our Honeymoon. Upon arrival the hot tub was freezing cold so I called the front desk and she assured me that it would be ready in 45 minutes. After an hour and no change in temperature we decided to hit the town. The next day I called again and was given the same run round. I explained that it hasn’t worked yet and she again said it would. No follow up and still no hot tub. I called again the following day and was given the same brush off with no follow up and no solution. When returning from dinner the following night I stopped by the front desk and a gentleman said he would come to our room. He came and agreed that it was not working and said he would get it fixed. Still no follow up and no hot tub. The following day I called and the manager happened to answer and said she would come by our room. She washed her hands and felt our hot tub and said “kryo, has it been like this the entire stay” to which i responded yes. She said she would need to call the hot tub company because it was broken. Again, no follow up and no solution. When she left our room we noticed how filthy the hot tub was along with it still not working. We were unable to use our indoor jacuzzi that we paid for our entire stay and the hotel is refusing to compensate us for the difference in a normal room type and our room type. I’m not one to leave a negative review, but I felt compelled to warn anyone that may be considering this hotel. There are a lot of beautiful hotels in Mykonos, choose elsewhere.

We had a Truly wonderful stay at this hotel and can highly recommend this small boutique hotel. It felt like home the moment we walked in. Paola and Emmanuella went our of three warty times ensure that we were looked after and treated well from the moment we arrived until the Moment we left. Lots of good local advise given - from locals! Best restaurants, beaches, car hire, taxis etc. Truly exceptional service and advise given. In fact all the staff are extremely nice :-). It seems to be their mission to excel in making guests feel welcome/happy. Our room was vert spacious, modern, clean and tidy with excellent facilities. The shower was fabulous and the bed was very comfortable. We had our own patio area with sea views and private jacuzzi. Northern Europeans, be aware that the water is cold - it is not a hot tub! But nice anyway once in ! Our room was cleaned daily. We particularly enjoyed having our continental breakfast delivered to our room which we could enjoy on on patio. The pool area / bar area is cozy with priceless views over the bay. Just stunning. ideally located between Mykonos town [10 mins] and the beautiful beach at Ornos [15-20 mins]. We had no trouble with the walks every day and in fact the scenery on the walks to/from Mykonos Town/Ornos are great. We also had a few runs to remove the excess food and wine :-) Nothing to dislike and we are already planning a weekend break to go back to the home from home. HIGHLY recommended- don’t stay anywhere else :-)

The tv didn’t work and neither did the tub outside. No one could tell me why. No management to talk to.

We stayed at Apiro Mykonos for our honeymoon and were very pleased with our experience. The hospitality is superb despite recent reviews which had us alarmed. We booked the superior room which had beautiful views of the sea and Cliffside. The walk to a nearby mini mart, beach, restaurant (Nikos), and town center were super easy to get to. We did end up renting an ATV to get around the island but not needed if you want to stay local. The room was very stylish and modern … super spacious too! Breakfast was served daily and brought to our room.

Apiro was generally a premium stay however there were few things that needed some fine tuning. For example general cleaning around the pool and in the room could have been a little better. The staff were good and the location was perfect with the pool area being the prime spot.

COMPLETE SCAM!!! Do not stay here under ANY CIRCUMSTANCE!! I booked a 5 night stay here and paid fully in advanced, and due to travel restrictions I arrived one day late. The hotel SOLD MY ROOM to someone else and REFUSED TO PROVIDE A REFUND. They never even attempted to contact me. I showed up and they literally told me they don’t have a room for me and they would not provide a refund. Completely outrageous! The manager here is like a sleazy salesman who is out to scam Americans and other travelers in any way possible. DO NOT STAY HERE!

Siamo rimasti piacevolmente sorpresi della bellezza, cura e pulizia della stanza. Il personale è molto gentile, specialmente Paula che rimarrà sempre nei nostri cuori. I visited Apiro with friends in September 2020. We had a really mixed experience here, some bits were lovely but some not so great What we loved: - Really friendly bar man / receptionist nico. Couldn't do enough to help. - Pool area is lovely with lots of bean bag type sun loungers and a great view of the sea - Nicely decorated hotel and stylish rooms - 10/15 minute walk into Mykonos Town - No restaurant on site for lunch but able to get tasty food delivered (and wine!). The takeaway menu they provide is really nice and reasonably priced. - Breakfast was delivered to our rooms because of Covid. Yoghurts, fruit, toast etc - Once we had complained about the bar (see below) we got a free room upgrade. The new room was amazing with a private jacuzzi What could be improved: - There is not a fully stocked bar here. There was only dark spirits and very little mixers. No cocktails. No white wine. When we asked if they would be restocking they said no as it was the end of the season (which seemed so silly as they could have bought some from the shop and charged us a premium... bonkers) - After speaking to the manager they bought some gin and wine for us which we appreciated. Although be warned, there was no price list and the drinks are extortionate. 20 euro for an aperol spritz. - There are no shops nearby, you would need to go into Mykonos Town if you wanted to buy your own drinks. - Definitely not the cleanest of hotels. I don't think the jacuzzi in our room was cleaned from the previous guests which was concerning in Covid times! - A lot of the rooms don't have balconies or courtyards or any outside space which makes them dark inside Overall i would say this is not a 5 star hotel. It looks it on the surface, but this isn't reflected in the service and in the smaller details. We felt we were mislead by what we saw online. We may have had bad luck as we visited at the 'end of the season'. Perhaps in the middle of summer we would have had a better experience
