Well situated for local walks. Pleasant situation. Equally distant from Hokitika and Greymouth.

As an older couple not too sure that the mixed age groups worked for us. Reminded us of student accommodation. Good place if you are a large group to share the house. En-suite rooms booked individually. Shared kitchen and lounge.

The bed is comfortable and the staff were friendly. The location is fabulous.

Mosquitos ruined it for me and difficulties with keys

I stayed alone for two days. The check-in process was smooth, and the room was clean. However, the room was small and there was no desk suitable for working, so I used my laptop on a shared table. Overall, I think it passes the mark.

It was lovely to stay in the old cottage and have our own ensuite. Sharing the lounge and kitchen with other guests was fab too

Getting food for breakfast was a challenge so would be great to have to options for a few breakfast items in the kitchen.

We enjoyed our stay. Good food. Nice staff.

Check in was easy & chatty. Asked us if we'd like to dine with them - check in is at the local pub - so an easy YES. Meal was great, accommodation across the road at a renovated home into bed sits was perfect. They had their own ensuites, so privacy was no issue.
