Our stay at the hotel has been spectacular. It’s a small and charming hotel. The owner provided us with splendid service. It feels like staying in an old guesthouse but with the comforts of a 5-star hotel. I recommend it 100%. Thank you very much.

Outstanding service. Beautiful internal design of the room.

When we were greeted at the pick up location with warmth like old friends, we knew we were in for a great experience. The warmth and service, and attention to details is what makes this place special. The garden, entrance and bedroom are beautifully styled to create a sense of calm. The amenities, generously provided, are of good quality. The bed was pre-warmed while we went out for dinner. In the evening, we kept warm by making tea in our room using the lovely tea set provided. In the morning a charcoal stove, scented with mandarin peel, was prepared and brought into the breakfast area to keep us warm while we enjoyed breakfast. We were shown the new tearoom at the front garden which will open soon. It looks like a place of calm and meditation that is not to be missed! There is an in-house store with beautifully curated ceramics, clothing and tea. We took the chance to purchase a few lovely things to bring home. The owner sent us a list of cafes, restaurants and places to visit. We tried some of the recommendations and every one was good.

The Inn is situated in the heart of Shuhe old town so it is very convenient and yet it is very quiet. A very serene and peaceful place. The Inn is surrounded by greenery. If you are looking for a place to relax and recharge, this may be what you are looking for.

Beautiful architecture set in a serene location in Shuhe ancient town. Very careful attention to detail, property was very clean, had traditional Chinese tea making facilities and had an array of high quality toiletries. Breakfast was delicious and cooked with very fresh local seasonal ingredients. The gentleman who works at the hotel goes above and beyond to give recommendations and assistance, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

We love our 3 nights stay in WUAITANG. The staff was very warm and helpful! They picked us up at the Lijiang Railway station when we arrived. The whole atmosphere in the hotel was relax and very suitable for city people who would like to zoom out from the city vibe. The hotel location is excellent for people who don't like the busy crowd. The whole 3 days during our stay, we were always looking forward the breakfast in the morning which cooked by the owner and the comfy bed at night!
