A lovely little hideaway with fantastic views and wonderful staff

The BnB was very thoughtfully planned out. We had a big space and a private bathroom, with lots of thoughtful extras in the room. Was very quiet at night and had an amazing view of the water (as the name suggests!). We stayed in this location as it was only a 10-15 min drive to the Bruny Island ferry in Kettering. The host was lovely and prepared the most amazing breakfast for us!

It was a private home with a bedroom upstairs. Our single room was a bit cosy

Room was neat and artistically done! It was such a pleasant sight. We had vanilla late, chocolate milk sachets as well, enjoyed them! The hosts very friendly. The breakfast was wonderful. Quite close to Blackmans bay beach, an underrated lovely place.

Checkin time is 4pm, which is quite late in comparison to other accomodations. So, if you need an early checkin, make sure you inform them well in advance and also remind them one day in advance.

We stayed one night and wished we could have stayed longer. Leonie and Tim were excellent hosts and very friendly. The room was superb, we had the King bed with balcony. Everything was exceptional, it was a delight to see full size products like shampoo, conditioner, bath wash, body lotion, etc. Every little detail was thought of right down to the vanity kits and a heated bathroom floor. There were plush robes and slippers in the wardrobe, though we didn't use them. Breakfast in the morning was delicious, fresh fruit, yoghurt, cereal, bacon,eggs,mushrooms, tomatoes,toast fresh orange juice, coffee and tea. We sat and ate breakfast with another couple and found ourselves chatting away with them and Leonie and Tim for over an hour..We went for a walk around the grounds when we first arrived and were surprised by the number of small marsupials hopping around, pademelons,wallabies. We will definitely be putting this place at the top of our list if we visit Hobart again!

I wouldn't day I didn't like it but the mattress was on the firm side, in saying that we slept soundly.
