DA'HOME - Vitoria Duplex Apartment

The apartment was located in a great area. Very spacious for the price. We were here for 4 nights and felt right at home. Although we never met the staff/hosts, they were very communicative over text and efficient with info. Comfy bed too!

The Vitoria flat’s location is central, close to all you need. The amenities are average, nothing special but they do the job.

The host left us waiting in the pouring rain despite being notified of our arrival time. Adding insult to injury, she then walked into the flat with wet shoes, soaking the floor. The bathroom door was also a significant issue, as it would often jam. This not only was an inconvenience but also posed a real safety hazard in the event of an emergency such as a fire. Also, the shower head was leaky.

The location can't be beat - steps from a lovely view of the city, directly next door to a little cafe/gorgeous old church. 5 min walk tops to all the major streets. Acoustic musicians often play at the viewpoint so you can hear soft singing and guitar (beautiful). The apartment had everything you need and the bed is very comfortable. Really, 10/10.

The only thing I could possibly think of is that the couch is a little sunken, so not the most comfortable place to sit.

- Continous (separate whatsupp) communication with the host even before arriving, and also during our stay (it's a fast and simple way to communicate and they were also sending us useful information) - Warm welcaming during key handover, and we also get many useful information about the surranding, illustrated on a map - Cose small flat, with fancy design - Wifi was stable and fast - Central location, everything is whiting walking distance but it is far away from noise and crowds - Tea filter, Coffe capsule and some biscuit was waiting us - Jar with water filter - useful app provided by the host, about the surranding area, must to see attractions, programs, etc

- The entrance key was half borken and we were just realises after check in, so we had to wait a 15 minutes while to replace (it is not big time and big issue, the only reason why I've even mentioned because the first answer from the host when I noticed this was that the previous guest ha no problem with it, but the 2nd answer was more cooperative and orgianized soon the replecement)

Amazing stay! Centrally located, the apartment was very comfortable and quiet. I appreciated the easy communication with the team via a WhatsApp group and their flexibility for the check-in (bonus point for the lovely and warm welcome I received!). The bed was very comfy, the flat big enough to relax after a long day of exploration, and the location is ideal for visiting Porto (everything is max. 15min away walking distance). If I'm back to Porto, I'll definitely book again! Excellent value for money.
