All was good, probably the bed and pillows could have been better, but this is really personal.

Perfect! Very clean, organised and cosy. It had everything I needed. Little touches made it so special. Really appreciate these touches as it shows they really thought of everything. Location perfect also. Love, love, loved it !!!!!

The location is ok. Lively street with people from all walks of life around. We have stayed in many apartments but this one did NOT match what was shown on the website. We had to move out the next morning. Customer service was evasive and promises of a refund were constantly delayed until we rang Booking.com and even now we are still seeking a refund of all our money less the one night we were in the property.

The apartment was run down, poorly maintained and moldy. We moved out after one night as the smell was too great even with the 3 large windows and fan running all night. The property offered a deep clean but the state of the apartment was such that a deep clean would take several days which we did not have. The most honorable thing would have been to simply refund us the nights we were not in the property but this was not forthcoming. All round worst experience in my 10+ years of travelling and booking.

The apartment is ideally situated, within walking distance to everything you want/need. One of our highlights was the fact that we were about 10 minutes walking distance from ‘Jardins do Palácio de Cristal’, where we spent a considerable amount of time, including a few sunsets with amazing views. Even though the property is close to a thriving night-life area, it is very quiet. The bed was comfortable and a good size, so we slept really well during our stay. We arrived late, so were able to check-in by ourselves, which is always a huge plus. Even though we never met the hosts, they were extremely helpful & responsive via messages throughout our stay. We felt well taken care of.

If we would have to choose anything that wasn’t great about this place - it would be the bath. It was a bit narrow for our liking. Not a big issue, but if it was a more comfortable size we probably would have given this poperty a 10/10. Otherwise…it’s a 9.5 🙂
