Room was extremely dirty!

It is what you would expect from an older motel of this type. Quiet area. Friendly staff. Good location for getting to our events. Nothing fancy but has all you need.

We travel to the area every other month for an event. This is the best price and best location. It is what you would expect from an older small motel.

Normally things are decent but this time the bed was uncomfortable and there was a dirty wash cloth wadded up on the sink. Shower head was crappy and the tub drain plug didn't work. This was the first time we had a room on the front. I think the rooms on the back are better.

The heater/AC worked. However that lead to the musky air to circulate.

I booked this for a 3 day stay coming in from the DC area. I wished I had done my usual review research. I got this to motel after a 9 hour drive early Saturday morning. I got asked for a cash deposit. In hindsight, for this this place? Really? The entrire room smelled like a musky attic. The bedding had stitches. As I was very tired and had to get up in five hours to attend a family member graduation, I slept on top of the bedding. After attending the graduation, I told my family members the quality of the motel. They offered me their hotel room couch bed to sleep on. I gladly accepted. I would rather take the loss on booking than sleep in that room again. I returned Sunday for my clothes. I just kept my more personal items in my car than the room. My PJ and travel clothes aborbed the room smell. This place is only good for a quick rest and that even if you can tolerate the musky smell.

Not what was expected from the Expedia website it was not what we expected it was bad

Absolutely nothing to like about this place, rating needs to go in the negatives.

Soon as you arrive you'll decide this isn't a good place to stay. But after a 8 hour drive, we were just ready to relax. Go inside to check in, and it's a tiny window like you would see in a small gas station. Man comes up, ask for a $20 cash deposit and to pay at the same time. Get the room key and walk to the end. There is a clothing donation dump bin right outside the room overflowing and trash around it. We open the door and it smells extremely stale and musty. The bedding doesn't look clean or remotely comfortable, the tv is maybe a 20in and then there's the bathroom. It was beyond disgusting, and they only had 2 regular towels out. Took a few pictures to show had nasty it was, like no one even tries to clean it. After seeing all this we immediately went back to the check in window, canceled our booking and got the deposit back. Only positive is the guy didn't give us no issues about it. Thankfully we were are to book at Hampton Inn Tiffin. Drove from Philadelphia, PA for my graduation at Tiffin University and this was an immediate letdown. Lesson learned, buyer beware!
