"Comfortable rooms, friendly staff, but tough location for non-drivers and bad coffee options"

Comfortable room. Decent waffles for breakfast. Friendly staff

Location. Not very convenient or connected unless you're driving. No cafes nearby that are open on the weekend. Some roads may not have footpaths that make it super unsafe to walk. Only sweet options for vegetarians at breakfast.

"It was a pleasant stay especially the breakfast"

I needed a card to check in but booking.com told me I could pay at the hotel which also means I could pay cash and I had cash yet at check-in the staff refused to allow me and my colleague a and almost cancelled the reservation

Waffles were good. Beds were comfortable.

The carpet in the rooms and halway was YUCK. Coffee station has no creamers ans breakfast was OK. Bagel was very stale.

"Basic hotel that needs an update"

I stayed with my family from August 12 to 13, 2025. The hotel is in a quiet area with free parking, ideal for a short stop. Ann Arbor is a lovely city, peaceful and home to the largest football stadium in the U.S., definitely worth visiting. The hotel itself is quite basic. The breakfast is average, and the rooms need renovation, especially since the sink is outside the bathroom, which feels inconvenient and not very hygienic. Good for one night, but there are better options if you plan to stay longer.
