Front door latch faulty Front door binding, not very strong hot water , cheap toilet paper, lack of descent tv channels, Pay tv subscription should be complementary from hotel ( streamed into every room )

Well located and was good value.

You can hear every noise made from adjacent rooms, rooms above and people outside up and down the stairs. Sound proofing is awful and spoiled what was otherwise a good choice.

The staff were rude, couldn’t find a room let. Tried to check in before and appt but couldn’t because they couldn’t find the room key. All our shoes got soaked due to the poor drainage around reception and carpark.

The staff were friendly and helpful

The room number 9 that was assigned to us stank very strongly of stale cigarette smoke. It was difficult to sleep in it even with the air freshener the staff gave us. They couldn’t give us another room as the hotel was full. The staff explained to us that they couldn’t control who smoked in the room as the occupants often disconnected the smoke alarm. We should get our money back for the cost of this room. We have often stayed at this hotel when visiting Albany before so you can imagine our disappointment. Kind regards Dietmar
