"My first stay at a La Quinta Inn."

The gentleman that checked us in was incredibly helpful and gracious. I appreciate all he did for us.

Breakfast was lacking but it is complimentary I suppose.

Hotel was average, not Hilton, but not Travel Lodge either.

Desk clerk was rude, anything but welcoming. LaQuinta has been pet friendly and free for pets forever. We haven't stayed there recently due to traveling in an RV. Had to use hotels this trip, $25/night per animal, every night is ridiculous. That is more than half the cost of the room for 2 dogs, size doesn't matter, every night. Clerk commented, "That's how it is Since Wyndham took over". Most in industry seem to be pay first night then each is free thereafter (IHG). You only have to clean the room once, for a stay that is 1 or 7 nights, or more. G'bye Wyndham, hello IHG when we have to use a hotel on a trip.

We, our two small dogs as well, enjoyed our stay. It was a first time for us in the area, and everyone was very receptive to our visit.

Nothing comes to mind, enjoyed the stay.
