Merriweather Lakehouse Hotel, Autograph Collection

We stayed while going to a Dave Matthews Band concert. It is a short walk to the venue. The staff is great. I love that they have a full bar and it stays open late. This is the only hotel I will stay at when going to a show at The Merriweather Post Pavillion, Md

The location could not have been better. It is generally a beautiful hotel. The staff were all very respectful and helpful. The food and bar longue were also great.

The roomed smelled like mold. We tried asking for housekeeping to bring up some air fresheners, but it did not change the odor. It was not a simple odor that could be cleaned away. It was a permeating smell of mold that would hit you in the face the moment you walked in the room. I understand that the lake and the rainy weather may have added to it, but I do not think having to deal with a moldy odor is worth paying nearly $600 a night. It made everything feel musty and dirty.
