La Quinta Inn by Wyndham San Diego Chula Vista

A lot of the hotel was under construction. Construction Workers were drinking openly in the parking lot. The parking lot itself was confusing. We went to dinner and came back to find no parking at all. Had to park almost outside on the street. Front desk staff were very nice, respectful, helpful and funny.

No parking after dark. Under condtruction.

room has been refreshed and was very comfortable, breakfast was excellent

room service not offered unless your stay exceeds 3 days

While the staff and amenities here were great, it would have been nice to know in advance the proximity to the roadway the hotel is. If you’re looking for a quiet, relaxing stay you should know this hotel is right on top of two major highways, so the vroom is constant. Not to mention a few homeless tents set up just outside the hotel property. Although the hotels property is fenced in, it would be nice to know in advance if you’re bringing the family, beware of tent city and the autobahn.
