Very nice hotel. Comfortable rooms and beds. Good res restaurant. They have breakfast but its not complimentary. I only wish they had free coffee and tea in the lobby like some other hotels. They have a Starbucks machine you have to pay for.

The hotel is beautiful and clean. The room was on the small size. We spent an additional $10 to get a balcony on our room and we were disappointed that there were no chairs on the balcony

"No need to avoid, but don't stay here for the pool"

I took my son here for a staycation; we were looking for a spot with a nice pool/hot tub and a restaurant. The pool was freezing, which surprised me because the weather has been hot and I have been comfortable in unheated pools in my area. It was so cold that even the young children we saw only stayed in for a few minutes. The hot tub was roped off with caution tape. There were several lantern flies swimming around and no net available to fish them out. I did like that the outdoor area had a variety of seating options. The room was clean and fine, although the HVAC is extremely loud and woke me up turning on/off several times during the night. We have elite status but were not upgraded even though there were rooms available online in every category, and the hotel seemed deserted. We ended up with well over $100 in charges aside from our room, for one adult and one child for one night. The hotel is in the middle of nowhere but charges for parking. The restaurant is an Irish pub which had a fun feel, but was very loud (most of the space was roped off, leaving the area where we were very crowded). The continental breakfast option was very limited for the price. I ended up paying about $20 for coffee and toast with grape jelly (the only jam option). The kid's breakfast is a better deal. While I would not avoid this hotel if I needed to be in the area, I would not choose it again for the purpose of a staycation.
