Clean large room. Cosy lightning. Clean and nice. The reception staff are wonderful, especially the guy checking us in, not sure if the name. Loved the Christmas decorations too!

This hotel was in a very good location during our travel. The hotel was very clean, and the staff were very helpful. The bed was most comfortable, which made for a great night's sleep. We found the hotel to be quiet, without the usual "door-slammers" at most hotels. There two (2) negative takeaways - the room's fridge had to be programed every two hours; room service charge of 20% was way to high.

The breakfast was great, but was room service, the front desk attendant when I checked in said the breakfast included with the rate was the room service/door hang but it should have been in the dining room. This caused issues with billing at check out.

One of our party's reservations were cancelled by the hotel after booking.com made the request to just shorten the already paid for stay by one day. The manager and a desk attendant 'helped' us but said they had nothing to do with it and blamed booking.com but booking.com showed the hotel never responded to the request. This was particularly frustration because we had already called the hotel to see if we could work directly with them to make the change to the reservation and were directed back to the third party site, rather than watch for the change to come through and ensure it was handled appropriately someone at the hotel cancelled the reservation which then led to us having to book while we were there and pay on another card (rather than the company card that was used to make the initial reservation.) The staff were not accountable or accommodating.
