The hotel was affordable, pet-friendly, and conveniently located. Most of the beaches were only about 10–15 minutes away, La Jolla was approximately 20–30 minutes away, and Legoland was about a 40–50 minute drive. I appreciated having a kitchenette so we could prepare meals instead of eating out for every meal. The room had a large closet, the bedding was clean, and despite the walls being somewhat thin, the property was generally quiet at night.

While the room appeared clean, the carpet did not feel very clean, and walking barefoot left our feet noticeably dirty within a short period of time. The entrance to the property is also very steep, making it easy for lower vehicles to scrape when entering from the road. Although the hotel is pet-friendly, there were no clearly designated dog relief areas on the property. We had to search for suitable spots, with only a small grassy area near the office and a dirt area on the side of the hotel available for dogs.

Location was good close to beaches and downtown

Parking was tough with a large vehicle and bathroom was small . Found a used condom in the closet . Told the staff they were speechless and did send room service to come and clean the room immediately

smelled like urine outside our area, 20.00 dollar a night parking fee we didn't know about
