Econo Lodge Columbus near Airport

We arrived at the hotel around 8 o’clock went to the room tried to turn the light on. It didn’t come on and recognize that we had a single bed when I asked for a double occupation. Went back to the front desk and tow the front desk that we asked for a double bed, not a single bed. He told me at the time that they were sold out and could not move us. Then I went back to the room and called Expedia to explain to them what had happened then to find out once we got the lights on that the room was not even cleaned at all. There was a hairball stuck on the wall on another wall. There was a hole which I tried to hide behind a painting the telephone had mole on the surface of it. The walls were molded. The floors felt like someone had poured all on it. Went to use the bathroom. There were urine all over the top toilet seat and the tub look like someone spread it species on it. I showed the front desk the room and he didn’t even apologize for wanting to put us in the room we ended up having to try to find an Airbnb at 9 o’clock at night. It was not successful at finding one and finally around 11 o’clock at night. We ended up going to the best Western to find a room. It was a busy weekend there and we were up visiting our daughter. Who’s in school. I was very disappointed at the service that I received from them and from Expedia. We talked to somebody that worked with Expedia and they were no help either. We were so discussed it with the room and the service. We did not want to stay

Our room was very clean, as was the premises of the hotel. Staff was friendly upon check-in. For the price, this was not a bad place to stay.

The bed was not the most comfortable, but I also really did not expect it to be considering the price point of the room; you get what you pay for.

Poor service, dirty, unsafe location,roaches and mold.

I didn't like the price of the hotel it's need to be renovated hole in the walls towel rack falling off the wall.

They need to do some upgrades. They also need tp do a deep cleaning. The staff was very nice!

I really liked the location and the price.

My room floor was dirty when I checked in. The next morning I mentioned it to the front desk, and when I came back after work it was all cleaned up. Breakfast was the same thing every day.

Room was disgusting. We had to go to Walmart to buy sheets and blankets to feel clean enough to sleep. The door wasn’t even closed when we arrived, so no need to use the key that was provided - this was very unsafe. My husband did a walkthrough before allowing me and our children to enter.
