Rodeway Inn Willamette River

The location is a short and awesome walk along the river to an historic, kind of hipster old town with street performers, unique shops, taverns and restaurants...the culture is very cool, especially if you appreciate modern art. I was pleasantly surprised to find this area in Corvallis. .

My only real complaint is that the ice machine was out of order and theres no coffee pot in the room. Interior could use some updating, it's not musty but does kinda have an old building aroma about it, probably just the old furniture. My wife would have hated it but the dog and I found it comfortable, window opens wide for good ventilation.

The price was right and it was a decent one-star hotel. No bed bugs! Yay

The downside was there was street construction going on through the night Right in front of the hotel so it was noisy.

Great location: you can walk right to downtown and/or take the riverwalk. The bed was super comfy. The bathtub had super hot water. The manager was friendly and helpful: I requested a room away from others, and he totally gave me one. Better and cheaper than the Motel 8 across the street.

The wifi was almost nonexistent, though I didn't care. The place looks 'sketchy' on the outside, a single woman wouldn't want to stay here, though it was fine once you're inside: the room was great. This place IS between the two roads that lead in and out of town, so there is a lot of traffic noise, though I didn't mind it.
