South Sioux City Marriott Riverfront

Location was decent

Very little amenities for families

Location was good, bed was comfortable.

Shower was too small and leaked at wall. The door to bathroom too close to entrance of room and toilet space was crammed up by sink and shower.

Fabulous. Very large complex that runs along the River Walk. Breath taking views as you walk along the water front. There is a wine tasting facility at the end of the property, also excellent. The breakfast was incredible...what a variety and lots of everything to choose from. Staff was always helpful. Room rates are good.

The $15 parking charge...just include it in the price like the breakfast.

This is a great location on the Missouri River and perfect stop on my road trip. Amazing beds, beautiful renovation and dog friendly. Excellent Mexican restaurants in the area.

Had some minor room snafus - no a/c or hot water - but was so tired and the bed was so comfortable, I honestly didn't care.

The facility is an older property now under the Marriott flag. The public areas and rooms are nicely appointed and comfortable as you would expect from Marriott. The restaurant and breakfast (Sunday Brunch) was excellent. It is on the southwest side of the metro so located in Nebraska across the river from South City Iowa. They only issues seems to be that getting an Uber is difficult because the community it is officially located in isn't large, and ride services are limited. And there is some issue with Sioux City Iowa ride services coming over the bridge into Nebraska due to tax or regulations? However, the hotel offered a good sized van transport over to the Hard Rock Casino and Event Center area where we were going for a concert so it all worked out.

Property is located on the Nebraska side of the Missouri River - South Sioux City immediately on the other side - so more difficult to get to, and the immediate location is experiencing some decay though there were no issues regarding safety or other. Just not a place you'd go to for a nice walk or other restaurants, bars.
