South Sioux City Marriott Riverfront

Great visit

Outdoor pool was wonderful. Had a room with a patio overlooking the river this was very nice. The restaurant attached was excellent.

The room we had was so clean, spacious and comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay there and hope to return. The bar at Kahills had amazing appetizers and drink menu!

Overall, the stay and accommodations were really good. The view of the river and downtown was awesome and the grounds beautifully kept. The onsite restaurant Kahill's was luxury dining and delicious. Bed comfort was ok. We would stay again.

I was given a 1st floor room in the front of the building, since I was a female traveling alone this made me very uncomfortable. I was told they didn't have anymore king rooms. I walked to my room, which seemed like a mile from the front desk was either not cleaned or in use. The door wasn't even locked. I walked a mile back to the front desk to let them know, she had to give me a double room but at least it wasn't on the first floor. I walked a mile back to that wing, got into an elevator to the floor I needed to figured out my room was in a whole different section of the building and I couldn't get to it from there. Back down the elevator, walk down to the next elevator. Walked into the room it looked fine, I was suppose to be able to see the river but a large tree was in the way. Went to the bathroom and it was disgusting, there was mold on the shower head, mold along the shower and looked like it hadn't been cleaned. I tried to take a shower but I could never get the shower hot enough and when I put it on full hot, the water pressure was dismal, long short short, I chose this hotel because it was a Marriott, knowing Marriott standards. I am surprised they still have the Marriott name. FYI, the staff at the front desk was somewhat helpful and doing here best.

We enjoyed the patio and river view.

Ice machine didn’t work and wished it had a microwave.

for the price I paid we should have had a microwave & fridge! That was the only disappointing thing.

Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Switched our room from one with view of parking lot to one with a view of the river front. Property was very clean.
