Agriturismo Cà del Nono

We come from a grape-growing community in California, so we know how hard it is to maintain a small family farm. We always stay in agriturismi to support families, and Ca del Nono is a wonderful place! The family is kind and welcoming, and the rooms have gorgeous views. Breakfasts are delicious and plentiful. The location is private and quiet but close to many excellent restaurants and wineries.

Great view, quiet place, friendly and caring hosts, clean rooms, vineyard atmosphere, excellent vine and vine tasting, nice starting point for hiking and other tours. Ideal for couples and groups of adults. Friendly dog that we liked a lot. (:

For families with younger kids okay, male dogs might not get along easy with the male dog living there (really great and friendly dog though).

This is a working family-run farm / winery, with young, ambitious winemakers. The view from the terrace is really nice, and you will have many opportunities for excursions nearby; Contratto for spumante, Beccaris and Berta for grappa and La Gironda for wine. Torre dei Contini, Alba, Villa Prato - everything within reach. The room we had was spacious, clean and well appointed. In fact, it was more like a flat, with a small kitchen in a corridor. Breakfast had a bit for every taste, both sweet and savoury. Our hosts were very helpful and friendly, and they could also arrange a beautiful tasting dinner outside on the terrace. We also had a tour of the winery itself. It may not be huge, and certainly workman-like, but very interesting.

I guess some people might miss a swimming pool, but from what I understand, that might be in the works. Apart from that, we were very happy. We had brought along 5 of our friends, and they were happy too.

Highly recommended b&b at the wine yard! The owner family were super helpful, but not all of them spoke English. They invited to absolutely amazing wine tasting and dinner at their terrace with sunset.

All rooms didn't have private bathroom but had one in the corridoor
