Maison Bahija

Great location in the Medina with very nice balcony and terrace. The owner was very available, friendly and kind.

Slightly dirty dishes.

Breakfast was not included, but we had a small kitchen and the apartment is close to lots of cafes ... we ate out for breakfast and dinner most days, which was easy is the apartment is so well located. We loved the rooftop terrace and views from the top of the town. Apartment was very clean and comfy - bed was super-comfy. Behija was really nice, super-smiley and very easy to deal with, although she doesn't speak much English, so best if you have some French and/or Arabic.

It could have been a little easier to find the apartment, so I would ask for very clear directions in advance ... the medina is like a maze, especially when you go into it for the first time, with alleyways and steps everywhere - and GPS is not quite 100% accurate (although actually very good) ... and Booking.com gave me the wrong location, which didn't help but was not Behija's fault. We were able to communicate with Behija all the time and did find the right street after a short search, with a little help from the friendly locals :)

Felt like my own place at the top of the Medina. Our own kitchen, living room, terrace, separate bedroom, and a wonderful rooftop over looking the whole town.

None of the amenities that were advertised were there. There was one little heater in one of the bedrooms and it got cold that night. Communication was extremely hard with the lady that owned them. Not a comfortable stay

They were amazing hosts, very kind

Property was difficult to locate, we didn’t know there was parking at the top, nearer to the property so we ended up parking at the bottom. Fortunately, another guest helped us with luggage’s, it was a good 10min climb up. The property was clean and well equipped. We loved our traditional experience and the owner was very warm & welcoming. We will definitely return. Thank you Mama Bahija! x

Authentic little moroccon apartment with amazing views of chefchaouen, Great value for money & Bahija was amazing, so friendly and sweet, a proper Morocco mama ! Definitely will return !

Loved everything but hot water was bit of an issue !

Bahija is the most amazing host. She helped us out with everything and took us in even if we requested the home pretty late. The placement is great, really local and with incredible views from the terrace. We where very happy and would repeat for sure 😊 the bed is sooooo comfy!

Water turns off after midnight, we think it is turned off by the council.

Maison Bahija is a clean and a comfortable place to spend your trip. The owner Bahija is a wonderful, smily and Gentle woman.
