Sif Apartments by Heimaleiga

Excellent apartment, with lovely furniture, a beautiful balcony protected from the wind and very good position to explore city center, lots of parking spots nearby (more expensive P2 right by the door and less costly P4 just round the corner). Fully equipped kitchen, we especially appreciated having oven and a big freezer, even if some things are weirdly missing (Nespresso coffee machine available but no espresso cups, only big mugs..?) If you visit in summer and are a light sleeper like me, be sure to bring an eye mask because window blinds let a lot of light come in anyway. We had some problems upon arrival but they were very quickly fixed, so very good experience overall!

Modern, clean, good size, kitchen and bathroom were well equipped, and perfect temperature. Quiet building, safe secure and location was accessible to transportation and necessities.

Asked for 2 beds but they were made up as a double bed( had to get extra sheets and reconfigure the room ourselves). Not nearly enough hangers so had to ask for extras.

Location was ok and having laundry and dryer was good

No amenities like bath soap, lotion and the second bathroom didn’t have any facility for shower. Difficult to work out adjustment in aircon/heating

The size of the rooms and location just a few minutes to bars, restaurants and the main street.Arrived earlier than expected and an early check in was arranged for 45 euros.

While the property listing mentions included toiletries, they were of quite poor quality, so I would highly recommend bringing your own. It is also a shame that a single rollaway bed isn't available for children. The main bedroom is plenty spacious enough to fit one, which would allow guests to use the living room in the evening without having to set up the sofa bed.This was only an issue if the child is using the sofa bed to sleep.

Stora ytor, modernt och bra läge

Jag saknade en pärm med information om lägenheten och vad man kunde förvänta sig. Det var högst otydligt hur hanteringen av soporna skulle gå till och efter kontakt med er fick jag reda på att det skulle finnas ett kort att använda men det fanns ingenstans. En pärm med all information inklusive ett kort till soptunnan etc hade varit bra. Det saknades en del i köket som väldigt få bestick och köksredskap. Tyckte att TV var undermålig då det inte gick att streama med en iPhone och inte heller se några Isländska kanaler vilket hade varit kul för att få en liten inblick
