The staff of the hotel are extremely pleasant and professional. They do try their best, but there there seems to be a disconnect with senior leadership and line level personnel when it comes to consistent support and direction. The property itself is located in the heart of Parque 93. It’s a great location. The cleanliness of the rooms and the upkeep seem to be lacking. I experienced a broken toilet seat, a clogged bathroom sink, a shower door that didn’t shut all the way causing a flood and a shower head that couldn’t stay in one place as it kept falling down. (Room 904). It is clear room inspections do not take place on a routine basis. From the perspective of planning for your arrival, it seems that comments in your frequent guest file aren’t checked so they can honor requests such as room location, floor preference, etc. On both of my stays, I had to point out the comments in the file for preferred room preference. The breakfast was mediocre at best. The fruit and pastry selection are excellent however the warm food selections were not kept warm by any stretch of the imagination. It seemed a breeding ground for food borne illness. The spa was great and Andrea is outstanding. If you get a chance, book a massage with her as she is professionally trained and it shows. Overall, there are better properties to stay at.

Great place

What a wonderful hotel! We came in at 12:30am from the U.S., and they quickly whisked us up to our lovely room so we could immediately go to sleep after a long travel day. The bed was very comfortable, and the park nearby was lovely. There was a vast number of good restaurants within walking distance, and a nice little chocolate shop not far away. We were very pleased with our first trip to Bogota, and hopefully it will not be our last!

The hotel’s location is very good, and the room matches the photos, which is appreciated. The food quality is also good. However, the price charged at the hotel did not correspond to the rate shown at the time of booking. In addition, hidden extra charges were added, which gives an impression of lack of transparency. It’s a shame, because the experience could have been positive. For these reasons, I will not return to this establishment.
