Staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and bed was comfortable.

We arrived for our stay, warmly welcomed by Helen and a lovely cleaner (I’m sorry we didn’t get your name). We were shown to our room which was spacious, clean, lots of tea/coffee, shampoo/shower gel and towels waiting for us. Bed was very comfortable. We paid an extremely reasonable price for the budget double. We spent time in the bar where we met Sean (owner), Justin (barman) and several locals…all very friendly and we had a great night! Sean and Justin were very warm, welcoming and kind. We had breakfast on our second morning which was really good, cooked by the lovely Helen. The Ulster American folk museum is also nearby and well worth a visit. We were even lucky enough to unexpectedly time our visit with a local Gaelic football derby match, we walked down to the field and throughly enjoyed trying to get our heads around this fast paced sport before heading back to the bar for a couple in great company again! Thank you so much for an unexpectedly great stay, we definitely recommend for a budget friendly stay with excellent service.

Wonderful staff, very clean room, very clean shower etc, great bar at the inn lovely staff and lovely customers who love a good craic. Great views, enhanced by the dramatic romanticism of the ruined castle. Perfect location for exploring the area.
