L’accueil à la réception et au déjeuner ainsi qu’au restaurant. Le choix au buffet, les plats au restaurant et les bouteilles d’eau fraîche en chambre. La situation était agréable.

La température trop basse de la piscine extérieure: quand il fait -26, on aimerait être réchauffé dans l’eau. L’entrée de la piscine: on arrive par l’escalier immédiatement dans le grand fond, pas de panneau d’avertissement. La garde-bain nous l’a dit après coup. On a ensuite les cheveux mouillés puis gelés et c’est désagréable. Pas de linges à la sortie de la piscine malgré qu’on ait signalé le fait à la réception. Une heure plus tard, toujours pas de linges. Pas de douches non plus. Déjeuner: délicieux buffet mais pas compris dans le prix de la chambre. Dîner du soir: 45-50 minutes d’attente pour recevoir nos plats! Restaurant pas plein mais peu de personnel. Repas délicieux et excellente présentation. Chambre: vieillotte, salle de bain idem, lits confortables, propreté relative. Ne rien perdre sous les meubles ou sous les lits. Prix surfait pour la qualité et les équipements. On a trouvé de bien meilleurs rapports qualité-prix pour un plus haut standing.

I had to use two elevators to go to my room.

Room was in a good location but we did have issues with noise from a Christmas party on our second night. Issue was looked after by Management at check-out. The restaurant food was good.

First if all, the staff. They were very nice and very accommodating with our requests (additional water bottles, extra soaps, delay on room cleaning). We had an issue with one of our rooms and they were very quick to make the changes needed. We checked in post Christmas but you can still very well feel the Christmas spirit when they extended their assistance. Next is the facilities. There is a heated pool, gym and an in-house restaurant which are great for a comfortable stay. In the 3rd level there are lots of space where you can just sit, read a good book or get some drinks with friends. Moving on to the rooms, thay are spacious with a good fitting bath tub, but the highlight of the room would be the comfortable bed and pillows. You'd get to bed after a tiring day exploring Old Quebec and be up the next morning refreshed and ready to go explore some more. And last is the location. It's a beautiful place very close to the walls of Old Quebec so the places people would often visit is quite close, around 13 to 15 minutes of walking is all you need, most of the time. It is also close to a good number of establishments, particularly a handful of restaurants should you chose to dine out.

Much with most hotels in Quebec, breakfast is not included when booking a room. But there are dining options available within the hotel. There is a restaurant, a mini pantry where you can buy snacks, or for the Delta Elite members, a nice pantry where you can get as much as you needed. It was also a bit unfortunate that there was only one lift going to level 3, which you need to pass to get to the lift going to the higher floors, but I guess timing your trips is all that you need since the lift service is quite fast.
