Great space with own private pool, friendly staff , felt safe with a security person at the gate

The manager frustrated me initially as when we arrived before check in time as I had advised he was not very gracious about it though I had had no feedback regarding it being an issue; he appeared to prefer to be at a celebration for new year than welcome us as guests . the lawn needed a good tidy up to look nice and the place is generally very tired compared to the very smart photos that are online. Had to call the security in to get the gas going to make a cup of tea which didn’t make me feel comfortable in the villa . One coat hanger in two very large spacious wardrobes. Staff otherwise were very welcoming and friendly

The setting is lovely, well maintained garden, staff were great and accommodating, early check in was accommodated without fus, s pool is smashing and refreshing with an adequate external seating areas, kitchen was equipped

The place is tired and needs a refurbishment, there is no need for ignoring walls needing repainting, cover up on wooden cabinets with chipped painting, the whole villa could do with a thorough spruce up/spring clean, microwave not working, water cooler dirty. insects are a slight issue that could be addressed with at least a daily spray or even a water feature with fish that would reduce on mosquitos, ants are a problem above and beyond what is normal for a tropical location, I have livedin Asia for 30 years and was resident in some pretty rural areas also so know that this could be and should be addressed, there was construction next door which is noytthe owners fault so I am ok with that apart from there was works at 10:30 pm on one night. With the high prevelance of mosquitos the owners could at least install a mosquito net over the bed. I hate to criticise the villa because I loved the place sadly with just a little attention it would have been worth every penny

Very spacious, staff were super accommodating and fast response from the property manager organising all our extra facilities needed. Location was very pretty and quiet being 15 min from the busy areas

So many ants everywhere

The staff was attentive and kind, the room was always perfectly clean and taken care of, the villa was beautiful and felt safe. The villa had every amenity I needed if not more. The provided a speaker which was a nice surprise. Very spacious and the pool and outdoor bathroom was incredible.

Not much I did not like. Everything exceeded my expectations. The only thing I could think of is the distance from any restaurant or beach. None are within walking distance but it only takes a quick motorcycle ride so it was not really an issue anyways.

The location was a bit further out of the Main Street than we though. That was our fault for not checking though!
