Central location, nice and spacious apartment. Comfortable bed

1. La localisation, proche de la gare Waverley, de la gare routière, des sites à visiter et des commerces. 2. Le logement spacieux, avec une belle pièce à vivre et un lit confortable. Cuisine complète (avec four) 3. Les fournitures : draps et oreillers, serviettes de bain.

1. Les petits défauts de plomberie : robinet de la cuisine qui goutte, VMC très bruyante dans la salle de bains, lavabo de salle de bains qui gagnerait à être vidangé (j'ai retiré une touffe de cheveux, pas les miens, mais cela n'a pas suffi) 2. L'étage du dessous abrite un pub avec de la musique jusque 23h environ. Même avec des boules Quies, on profite des basses. Mais cela ne gênera pas les personnes qui ne vont pas dormir avec les poules ! 3. Peut être un petit coup de peinture sur la porte d'entrée (je n'avais pas reconnu la photo de Booking)

El poco aislamiento acústico que tiene. Se escucha todo el ruido de la calle y el baño al encender la luz se activa un aparato que hace un ruido horrible

This apartment is in the very centre of town. It is spacious with separate bedroom, livingroom. Kitchen is well-facilitated. Some spices, tea and coffee left. WiFi works well.

First of all it is quite difficult to find this place - pictures of the house at the instructions website do not correspond to real life at all. Be mindful that there are few sets of staircases to reach the apartment, so it might be quite difficult with suitcases. In the corridor, bathroom there are no hooks to hang things. It is also pretty noisy in the apartment as there are bars everywhere around i.a under the apartment. But is is nothing, of course, that owner could help.

Great location near sites, bus/tram stops and restaurants. Well equipped kitchen with washer (no dryer, but drying rack).

Very Noisy. Business dump their glass recycling multiple times per night after 10 pm. Garbage trucks pick it up as early as 5 am and sometimes all night. So Quiet hours were not really a thing. Bar time patrons would talk loudly in the street. It said I would have a city view, well the view was of the walls of other buildings, so basically no view at all.

The location of the apartment is excellent with its proximity to the Waverley Train station, eateries and shopping. The pricing is also reasonable for its location and the convenience it offers.

I would have rated our experience as a 5* had it not for the little things we have expected of a self-catering apartment which both the owner and Joivy have failed to provide. 1. I tried to reach out to Joivy regarding my requests (see the following points) and I received NO response at all. I sent an email plus a message via Whatsapp messenging to be disappointed by their non-responsiveness. 2. In the apartment, there is only ONE trash bag for our 5D4N stay. Are we expected to accummulate trash for 5days before throwing them? Imagine the smell and we are talking about early summer and the increase in temperature in the apartment. 3. There is a washing machine but no manual. There isn't any laundry detergent provided. In most self-catering apartment, it would usually be provided or if it is not, there would be a note telling us what kind of laundry soap to purchase. There is none here. 4. There is NO dish rack. After washing up the dishes, we do not know where to place them. 5. There is ONE kitchen towel (fabric) and NO paper towel although there is a paper towel holder. No dishcloth, no table cloth. To add on, there's No facial tissue either. 6. While we appreciate the owner/Joivy's friendly gesture of giving us a complimentary box of coffee/tea/biscuits, it is only good for a one-person's 4N stay or 2 persons' 2N stay. 7. We could not locate the switch to the room heater in the bathroom and there is no instruction. So, for those who are considering this apartment, do be prepared to have extra trash bags, laundry soap, kitchen paper towels, facial tissue paper, coffee/tea. And, oh.. forgot to mention the noise from the eating/drinking (restaurants/pubs?) places below the unit can get rowdy late at night. Although little things do count, we could, perhaps, live with

Great sized apartment with everything you need in a great location.

The windows were only single glazed, so it got very noisy at night. The shower pressure was horrible.

Great location, minutes from many restaraunts and qaint hotels and bars. Close to a good range of shopping. Walking distance to many of the major tourist attractions.

Difficult location for taxis and tourist operators to find, whilst front door pick ups were promised most parked one or two streets away as they wouldnt come up a busy street to our apartment and we had difficulty to go find them. One taxi dropoed us at front door when we firected him...dont know why the others found it too difficult.
