Spotlessly clean property located high up with far reaching views of Maspolomas, the dunes and mountains. Very quiet and peaceful. You can watch the horses at the stables below going out and returning from their hacks a couple of times a day. It has full sun for most of the day and there are sun loungers to take advantage of this! Carmen went out of her way to fulfil our needs and was extremely friendly and proactive. She is a great host!

The property could do with a bit of an update and we had expected a little more quality and better facilities for the price. For example the shower had a plastic curtain which stuck to you when in the shower and the bathroom was a little "tired" and could do with updating. It was expensive but that is probably due to the close proximity of Maspolomas and the benefit of being able to escape the hustle and bustle and return to tranquility when needed!

Was good value place. But you will need car car up in the mountains . My studio apartment was fine for 3 days .

The Black Horse Canarias is located about 5 kilometers away from Maspalomas, on the mountain. I enjoyed the great views. If you travel as a couple or with more people, I believe this is a very good location to stay at. The views are amazing and the apartment had all I could wish for. No dishwasher, but that gives the holiday feeling I guess. However, for example a very good washing machine and all other things you need. An extra plus: I often travel for work and almost never find Wifi as good as at this place.

Big thanks to Carmen and her super friendly family for a wonderful stay. I spend two weeks in Gran Canaria cycling and had such a great time at her place. The area is super quiet and it was a pleasure to wake up every day in this paradise with great views on the oceans and the mountains. The place is far away from all the mass tourism of the island. I enjoyed every minute :-)

Absolutely stunning apartment in a very tranquil area

Lovely location up in the hills, superb views of Maspalomas and sea in one direction, and the mountains in the other. Would definitely visit again.
