Harlow Hotel

Couldn't get into the building for nearly 20 minutes, trying to check in at 5pm... Had to leave & come back to again try multiple entrances. No explanation. After that the experience was pretty excellent

Really cozy cute room near public transportation and in walkable area. Fitness center was nice, quiet, clean and cafe was convenient. All exterior doors were locked and accessible by room key so the building felt secure.

Would've liked a do not disturb sign because I didn't need housekeeping (but that's not really a big deal). It's a good idea to be aware of your surroundings when walking to/from & directly around the hotel, but again the building felt secure.

Big bathroom.Clean towels.

Reception team were no help at all. They were rude and were more interested in being on their phones.

Great Value. Good location for what we were doing in Portland. Walkable. Friendly helpful staff. Convenient to get to the light rail train and if going from Airport a great and saved $$ for transport

If you are not from the "city" life and unhoused people make you nervous about walking around then maybe not the best. Doesn't bother us, and the location to what we wanted worked for us! No closet or drawers to put things if staying longer.

Easy walk from Amtrak Station. So many homeless without a Portapotty in sight for them, and big boulders to keep them from sleeping certain places. There were a number of good restaurants within walking distance, as well as Powell's bookstore--extraordinary! Liked some of the nearby public art. Historic building that's been renovated.

Wish there'd been more selection in the cafe, but nice to have it there, nonetheless
