The staff were enthusiastic and welcoming but the room was poorly lit and cold. And the plug in the sink broke, so i had to use a glass to keep the water in when fitting my contact lenses. However the price was very good for the area and the breakfast was good and included in the price paid. The manager did arrange for a heater to be placed in the room which definitely helped and has ordered a replacement plug. It is also a good pub with tasty food and I had eaten there before.

"Great place to stay!"

The room was clean and extremely comfortable. It looked as if it had been newly painted. We would stay here again just as a weekend away or longer!
