Parking, staff, clean room, felt safe.

No toast with F/E breakfast. Would have liked a lot of tea not just a cup. Difficulty with WIfi.

Food was very average. Breakfast not on until late so had to go elsewhere.

Quiet location, just outside town. Onsite restaurant offered a range of pub classics saving a walk into town for other food options.

Great stay at the Lamb & Flag. Welcoming staff, and a good dinner on arrival (we made use of a voucher for this). Comfortable bed and a good breakfast. Some good walking available from the doorstep (all the way up Sugarloaf if you are so inclined)

There were too many emails 'encouraging' us to check-in online to save time & hassle - checking in in-person simply involved our names being ticked off on the list of guests and being given the key. No hassle! It felt like an attempt to upsell by Marston's rather than the local staff. A small point but our room didn't have much of a view - just the playground.

Room was clean. Staff friendly

Shower was poor. Dangerous step from landing to stairs to bar. Food average. Tables not cleared. Paid for breakfast but could only have either cereals, toast etc, or something on toast, bacon type sandwich or a cooked breakfast. We had a cooked breakfast but were told we would have to pay for a slice of toast!
