White Ark - Adults Only

This is one of the nicest places we have ever stayed at, and we've stayed at a lot of really nice five-star places across the world. After arriving by taxi, staff met us on the street and helped take our bags up to the place (even though it's in a perfect location, it's still a few minute walk uphill from the street). The view from the place is everything you'd expect it to be and more, but that is not the really important part about booking a place in Santorini. A lot of places have views. What most places don't have though is the level of privacy White Ark has. While you're only steps from restaurants and people walking the paths, you're relatively shielded from it all. You can sit on your deck without being too exposed to everyone. We stayed in the large, two bedroom suite, and our private pool is pretty much completely shielded. The infinity pools at the other units are a little more exposed, but they are still super nice. Our unit had so many nice touches. The dedicated steam room was super nice, and you can even enter pool directly from a window within the unit. Sounds weird but it's really cool! The beds were perfect and there is no noise whatsoever at night. Breakfast service in the morning is also great and they will bring it to you whenever you specify. There is nothing I would change about this place. It's really great. Probably better than 99% of places to stay in Santorini. If you want more, you're probably paying many thousands of dollars a night.

Our stay was wonderful... got shuttle transportation from local from port to white ark and white ark met us and led us to the room. Location, cleanliness, view, service, privacy, and beauty of the place is unbeatable. Highly recommend.

My husband and I had the perfect 2 nights at White Arks. I can’t say enough good things about it. We stayed in the Noah villa and had our own private infinity pool. The view was to die for. The property and room is kept immaculately clean. Fanis (the manager) is extremely responsive and is always willing to help and answered all of our questions. The breakfast every morning is delicious. The villas are in the perfect location to watch sunset. It’s only a 10 minute walk to the bus station if you’re interested in going to oia or red beach. The villa is steps away from the little shops and beautiful streets of Fira. We would 100% recommend this hotel and would go back in a heart beat!

Mare Villa at White Ark was an exceptional stay and management was prompt with questions from the second we booked our reservation! Transportation from airport was arranged and upon arrival things couldn’t have gone more seamless. Staff were very courteous and reachable at all times. The villa was absolutely spotless. More than what we could’ve possibly have dreamed of, we look forward to working with Fanis and crew again in the future!

We had an amazing time at White Ark and will definitely return again. The location is great if you’re looking to have amazing views and still be close to Fira town with restaurants, shopping, nightlife but quiet when you’re in the villa. We had 2 couples and shared the 2 bedroom villa. The place was very spacious and clean. My only feedback is regarding the shower in the master, when taking a shower the water spills out a bit towards the toilet but we just doubled up the towels in that area when we showered so it was fine.

This hotel has a rating of 3.5 stars, it should be 5 stars! The hotel is brand new, just opened in early June 2019. I stayed at the end of June 2019. This hotel is impeccable. When you arrive the first thing you notice is the breath taking view. The view can be seen clearly from your bed, and your two private balconies and private pool. I stayed in the Mare Suite. The service at the hotel is top notch. They are always available via text to give you what you need. They provided a cell phone to use to communicate if you didn't want to use your own. They provided recommendations, arranged our deep sea fishing tour, lined up an ATV to be delivered to us, and answered every question we had. They deliver breakfast to your room each morning, made to order. Omelets, fruit, greek yogurt, and a bread basket. Have a special request or dietary restriction? They will accommodate. Did I mention the private pool? All the other private pools in the area are for dipping, this is an actual pool, for just you. This hotel is located right next to the cable car and about a 1 minute walk from the start of Fira. Great location, amazing views, awesome service. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in Fira. The price is great for what you get. I have stayed in some amazing hotels around the world and this by far was the best experience I have ever had. I hope to one day stay at White Ark again!
