Villa Amor

Tortuga in Villa Amor was incredible! The view was stunning and it had a wonderful ocean breeze and you can hear the sounds of the waves!

Very clean and the staff was very helpful. I would stay there again!

Very charming hotel. We got a room where we didn’t have to climb the stairs, which was very helpful with a baby.

The stairs would have made it tough for us.

Loved the location and size of the room!

The room smelt like mildew and/or mold. Everything we brought smelt like that and it took several washes of our clothing and bags when we got home to get the smell out. When I asked about it to the front office they just blew me off.

The villa is beautiful with breathtaking views. Short walk into town. The only downside was the 82 steps to climb up to our villa and there is no car parking so one has to find someplace on the street to park which isn’t easy with a car. Otherwise delightful but warning if you don’t want to climb stairs.

Beautiful hotel and great staff. The only thing that was negative about this hotel was all the stairs up to the room.

The setting is beautiful, the staff was attentive, the grounds were well kept. Everything was clean and comfortable. Our driver hired by Villa Amor to take us to and from the airport was prompt and safe. Si Senor, the restaurant on the property was also excellent. Carlos the manager set up a beautiful and memorable birthday dinner in the gazebo with wine and flowers.We enjoyed the lovely infinity pool in a jungle setting.

The only part about our stay that was not perfect was the noise from people's music around the bay. Villa Amor does not have control over this.Heavy duty earplugs and noise cancelling apps help some.
