NH Collection Quito Royal

First trip to Quito. The hotel was very nice and a good value. Staff were great and breakfast was incredible.

There is a construction site right next to the hotel and they started very early in the morning. The area around the hotel is just OK. It would be nicer if it was closer to Carolina park.

Bought breakfast and every day coffee tasted.like instant coffee in regular pots. A shame since Ecuador has great coffee

We stayed here in 2019, but things are showing some strain in 2026. Still a pleasant hotel with larger than average rooms. The walls and flooring are in good shape but the furniture is showing some wear. The bed mattresses are newer but very firm. The WiFi is slow and unstable. The air conditioning was turned off, not a problem with overcast conditions. The room had only one set of towels and after waiting over an hour after calling housekeeping I needed to go to the front desk.

Stayed here for a couple of luxury nights on our backpacking trip and it did not disappoint! The staff were so friendly and welcoming and helped us with our luggage, booked transfers to the airport for us and recommended local restaurants. The rooms were absolutely spotless with fantastic facilities in the rooms and hotel. The room service was also so good. Highly recommend and would stay here again if I ever travelling back to Quito. Very reasonably priced!

Propreté / personnel très professionnel et amical / petit-déj copieux et varié / chambre très grande avec vue (15ème étage) + lit confortable / salle de sport très bien équipée, propre, climatisée avec serviettes et boissons offertes, ouverte 24/24. Très grand réactivité du personnel pour régler des petits problèmes (store bloqué et télé momentanément non fonctionnelle).

Connection wifi un peu limite (chambre 1506) pour passer un coup de fil wifi et du coup télé digitale parfois interrompue. Carte du restaurant inchangée depuis plusieurs années, prix un peu élevé pour le pays, et service lent.
