Torlinnhe Guesthouse

I'd give it a five-star Michelin rating. Everything about it was perfect. Clean, comfortable room. Bathroom and shower were a good size, unlike so many places in the UK. Breakfasts earn a special mention - virtually everything, even the bread for toast, was home made and delicious. The hosts are incredible. I had a cold and I was served a vitamin C drink with breakfast and was greeted with lemon and honey upon my return at the end of the day.

We stayed one night, en route from Oban to Inverness, with several stops along the way. Torlinnhe Guesthouse was, as promised, easy to find, and it was pleasantly located, overlooking Loch Linnhe. Although the site faces the A82, it was quiet and comfortable inside. Our host recommended an excellent (but not expensive) nearby restaurant for dinner, within easy walking distance. Breakfast was excellent.

This is a lovely guest house, it is quiet, warm, comfortable and very clean with amazing smelling toiletries! Mark was very welcoming and so accommodating. My sister and I stayed here the night before doing the Glencoe marathon. We had to be up very early the next day and he was so helpful, he discussed with us our breakfast requirements and made some great nutritional suggestions and then delivered these to our door before we went to bed. One of the best experiences I've had in a guesthouse. Highly recommended!

Highly recommend, The owner Mark came out to Meet me as I arrived, offered to help with luggage, shook my hand showed me to the room explained everything . DVD in room with vast selection of films to watch for free. Room very clean and had all you could want, warm and comfortable, USB ports , Fresh milk in a flask. View from the dining room fantastic view of the Loch. Buffet breakfast with lots of homemade fresh products. Then had a omelette on first morning , then full Scottish on second and wow best breakfast I’ve had. Home made bread toasted as well. Mark gave me maps of things to do in the area. Couldn’t wish for better hosts from Mark and his wife. On leaving Mark gave me a homemade chewy bar which was very nice. I only wish I’d booked longer At this place, the one before and the two after this place were not a match in any way. Thank you for such a lovely stay and will definitely be looking to book here again when I visit Scotland.

Great view, close to town, clean and comfortable, was late for checkin but host very accommodative, write up notes in the room very informative. Breakfast was best, Mark and his wife cook with their hearts, everything organic and home cook, you feel so healthy !
