"Terrible customer service"

I booked because we were driving through an ice storm and I was scared to continue. So we thought when we got to Des Moines we would stay the night and continue in the morning. I booked about an hour before arriving. When we got closer everything was cleared up. I called to cancel and he charged me full price because I didn't give 24 hours notice. I was only booked for an hour. We ended up staying since we had to pay full price anyways but the hotel was gross. It smelled horrible and we found bugs. Also the toilet was hard to flush. Also we were 2 women and a young girl and we had to take a room on the second floor conjoined with men in the other room. There were barely anyone at the hotel. I did not feel safe at all.
