The Bay Colwell

Great location so close to the water and plenty of room for the two of us. Don’t think they have wifi but wasn’t a big issue for us.

1. The pictures shown are not of Bay Colwell in Freshwater. 2. They do not have a "Premium Cottage" this is what we booked from their website 3. There is no wifi throughout the resort 4. Dishwasher did not work 5. No privacy curtain onto outside common areas. 6. At check-in we were offered what they called a luxury cottage this was no different to any of the others but we had paid extra for it. Totally dissatisfied with the booking process, misrepresentation and lack of facilities. We would not be returning do not trust the name "Away Resorts"

Lovely property with everything you need for a self catering stay.

The whole trip was like a dream. Megan looked after us the moment we arrived with first class service. The chalet was incredible surpassed all expectations. Really lovely furnishings and very modern. There was a lovely sunny garden area all gated in which was great for our young children. The hot tub was very clean and was a lovely treat! The whole resort was well looked after, great clean pool, soft play (looked brand new). And to top it off the beach was only a small walk away with shops and lovely restaurants. The whole holiday was amazing. We had a wonderful time and cannot wait to go back! Thank you Megan for giving us first class customer service, so friendly and helpful and an absolute asset to the resort. And the whole lovely Stay Away team for looking After us. A great hidden gem!

Wonderful stay, super clean and like new luxury cottage. Perfect for family get away. Wanted for nothing in terms of equipment for cooking etc… very clean hot tub too. Friendly and helpful staff. Would highly recommend.

Great accommodation, clean, modern. Little starter pack of supplies (washing up liquid, dishwasher tablet, black bag) was a nice touch, hot tub for each unit a great addition. Nice location with beach walking distance and nearby towns for everything else. All staff we came across were friendly and accommodating. Only criticism was indoor pool was too cold for our 2 year old so we only used it the once but understandable seeing as it is out of season and not in constant use.

Great stay and location. Fab dog-friendly lodge. Shame wifi was advertised on the website but in reality was only available at reception.

Superb premium chalet with hot tub - immaculately clean and spacious. Hot tub excellent. Great location, a few mins walk from beach. Pool lovely and clean, unisex changing rooms odd. Staff very helpful and friendly, nothing too much trouble. Will definitely stay again.
