Staff was amazing, service was excellent, the safari trips were great and we've seen everything we wanted. Food was also really lovely. Overall I had an amazing time and would definitely recommend

We had a wonderful time at Vuyani, it completely exceeded our expectations. The staff were incredible, very welcoming, attentive and friendly. The food was excellent, with plenty of choice and variety each day. Mostly important though, and why we were there, were the game drives (2 daily) Our guide and tracker were knowledgeable, fun and tried on every drive to find an animal somebody in the group wanted to see or had not yet seen. These trips were the highlight of our safari holiday, thank you Bennet & Godsave for making this such a memorable holiday for us.

Nothing could have been improved. We would have loved to have tipped everyone, it was easy to do this for our guide and tracker, but less so for other staff. Maybe a couple of boxes in reception, one for waiting staff and one for cleaners, so that tips can be shared amongst those invaluable team members.

Yuyani lodge is an amazing place to visit. The staff were super friendly and couldn't do enough for us, the food was great and the room was very comfortable. Solly was our driver for the safaris and Wisdom and Steven our trackers. They were all amazing, super friendly and very knowledgeable. They went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and give us a fantastic experience.

We had an incredible time at Vuyani lodge. The food was amazing, the staff were incredibly helpful. We will be back!

The little chalet were very attractive. The guides were excellent

The plunge pools or hot tubs didn’t work, some of the food wasn’t up to much for the cost of the stay.

The game drives were amazing - was only us and one other couple in our jeep for most of our trip so felt almost like a private experience. All the staff were so lovely and couldn’t do enough for you! Room was beautiful. The pool area was beautiful - could maybe do with a few more sun loungers for the sunny days! Breakfast and dinners were delicious!

Not a lot at all!!! If I had to name a couple of potential issues - If you’re a picky eater I’m not sure it’s 100% for you as lunch is not optional and sometimes dinner too (although usually given an option of main course I think!) Water pressure wasn’t always great.

ABSOLUTELY NOTHING

On arrival our keys were taken from us for our vehicle - no explanation - manageress then greeted us and old us we will be woken at 5am for breakfast. After questioning this I was told "That's why i work here and don't stay here." After 25 mins of discussion with my wife, we decided to leave after paying R20400 odd. I came for a holiday experience and not a prison roll call. Not once was the situation calmed or even fixed. I also suffer from severe asthma and had no access to my oxygen tanks in my vehicle. I was tossed my car keys and we left. After complaining to bookings.com as well as the owner of the lodge - we were promised a full refund. Till now - a week later we have received absolutely no refund or communication as to the way forward. Completely disgusted with the way we were treated and I WOULDNT RECOMMEND THIS LODGE TO ANYONE.
