Great value for money! Lovely CLEAN And modern room and bathroom, very comfortable bed. Staff were amazing and welcoming. We visited Cambridge on the day and it was a short drive away in a little town, much nicer than staying in the center; I believe there is a quick bus up to Cambridge as well.

Very small details but to note… The food was ok - we did have the dinner later on and it was a Sunday bank holiday just before kitchen was closing, had a roast, the potatoes hard as anything, same for the Yorkshire, beef was nice, and quite little veg. I’ll give it to them maybe it was a bit late having a roast and considering it was closing soon, but wouldn’t recommend and probably wouldn’t serve if it’s not fresh?. Early in the morning as people start to wake up from their rooms - door slamming is very loud ! Woke us up in the morning. Great alarm clock if you don’t want a lay in. Other than other people being noisy throughout the nice it was lovely and quiet. The shower head - not ideal for ladies if not hair wash day, water goes everywhere and to the sides and the shower head it quite high so nothing you can do about, just have to stand there awkwardly with head to the side. Not an issue! But might be worth noting if due to change shower head in the future the functionality of it 😊.
