Marseilles Beachfront Hotel

Property is in a nice location with private beach access.

Unfortunately the thermostat in our room was not moving below 75. We called for maintenance who came and checked, said it should be good and left. But the room never cooled. Outlets in the bathroom did not work either. I went down to the desk this time and I was asked if I can move rooms. I agreed that was fine. Due to my party size I booked a double queen room. What they sent me to instead was a smaller room with only double beds. Rather than make a big fuss I said I will see if they’ll do anything about this in the morning. Please note: I did shorten my stay with this hotel by one day. They approved the shortened trip. The response I got back from staff was that because they allowed this modification(I knew it was possible they wouldn’t and I was fine with that) that I should consider that my discount for having to settle for something that wasn’t what I’d booked. Their failure to provide the expected quality isn’t negated because you felt like these two wash out. They don’t. You still owe it to the customer to provide quality service that they have in fact paid for. And when you don’t, you compensate for that.

The place is dirty, the staff is lackluster and everything is dated and faded.

Great location

Really liked the heated swimming pool, decor and the location.

The signature rooms are pretty small.

Love the perks you get for staying there and the staff was very friendly

Very thin walls. You can hear everything, even people in other rooms. However they were on top of it with noise complaints
