Holiday Inn & Suites San Mateo - SFO by IHG

Stayed for two nights in the biggest suite. Room was large with a separate sitting and dining area. The bed and furniture were comfortable. The bathroom was only accessible through the bedroom. The faux fireplace was nice

Everyone was very nice, professional, and helpful. The front desk let me check in early and breakfast was delicious and service was exceptional.

The staff had attitude and was not accommodating

Parking is not included, and it's expensive- $25/night, and none of this was mentioned until I checked in TV and phone didn't work. Maintenance fixed both, but then TV didn't work again shortly after. They fixed it the next morning. One of the lights in the bathroom kept turning off then back on.

Staff was somewhat friendly. It would be nice if there was some kind of free breakfast available. There was a coffee bar, but the on-site restaurant was the only other option. Price was good, through a deal on Booking.com.

Walls and roof of our room (and I suspect throughout the hotel) are very thin. Could easily hear people walking on the floor above us and people talking in the rooms adjacent to ours. I was awoken early each morning due to these sounds. Also, the $25 per day parking fee seems very high compared to other hotels we have stayed at in San Mateo.

Breakfast was delicious & fresh ingredients!

The wallpaper in the bathroom was peeling. That should be fixed.
